Ceramics is the oldest plastic substance used by mankind. Discovered 25 thousand years ago, pieces of ceramicwork have been found all over the world, dating from before the beginning of recorded history. The factory was named cesiro ceramics, sighisoara, Romania on january, 1st, 1991 when it began functioning as an independent unit, no longer a section of the former glass and pottery factory of sighisoara.
